Symptoms and performance of cervical spondylosis

Cervical spondylosis is caused by degenerative changes in the cervical spine. There are several types of cervical spondylosis, and the clinical manifestations of different types of cervical spondylosis are different. The characteristics of each type of cervical spondylosis are described below one by one. Nerve root type cervical spondylosis: It is caused by nerve compression caused by cervical spine lesions, so there will be symptoms of nerve compression, such as numbness and pain in the upper limbs, and it can also involve the shoulder joint and cause frozen shoulder. Spinal cord type cervical spondylosis: It is a more serious cervical spondylosis, which can cause spinal cord compression due to cervical spine lesions, especially osteophytes or cervical disc herniation, etc. It can cause a feeling of binding in the upper chest, and can seriously affect the function of limb movement and abnormal bowel movement. Vertebral artery type cervical spondylosis: mainly caused by compression of the vertebral artery, it can lead to dizziness due to insufficient blood supply to the brain, especially when turning the neck. In severe cases, sudden collapse may occur. Sympathetic cervical spondylosis: It is mainly caused by the stimulation of sympathetic nerve in the neck, and the clinical symptoms of this type are very complicated, such as dizziness, shortness of breath, tachycardia, anterior heart pain, increase in blood pressure, etc. In serious cases, it can also cause endocrine dysfunction, etc. Cervical cervical spondylosis: It is mainly caused by the increased muscle tone in the neck and shoulder caused by cervical spondylosis, and there are pain in the head, shoulder, neck and arm and the corresponding pressure points. There is also a more specific type of cervical spondylosis, namely esophageal compression cervical spondylosis, which is mainly due to osteophytes at the anterior edge of the cervical vertebrae, coupled with the physiological curvature of the cervical vertebrae becoming straight or even retroflexed, etc., which can stimulate the posterior wall of the esophagus causing dryness or difficulty in swallowing. Cervical spondylosis is a relatively common disease and a great danger to human health, so we must pay attention to cervical spondylosis, and if you suffer from cervical spondylosis, you need to actively treat it.
