How long does it take to stop the pain after taking belladonna tablets

  Belladonna tablets are used to relieve spasmodic pain caused by gastrointestinal disorders and usually take about 2 hours after administration to exert pain-relieving effects.  Belladonna tablets are anticholinergic, which can relieve smooth muscle spasm and inhibit glandular secretion, and can be used for pain from stomach disorders, gastritis, and duodenal ulcers. It can also relieve renal and hepatobiliary colic to some extent. The pain-relieving effect can be gradually exerted about 2 hours after taking it usually. However, care should be taken with the dosage of the drug to avoid causing adverse reactions such as dry mouth, constipation, reduced sweating, blurred vision, etc. Also, belladonna tablets have relevant contraindications and are not recommended to be taken without authorization, and medication should be taken strictly according to medical advice.
