A fall from a height with the heel on the ground usually results in a heel fracture, and some complex fractures require prying and repositioning or even surgical incision and repositioning, but the results of the latter two are questionable! Unless the fracture is severe, I advocate a plaster fixation by manipulation. I am constantly exploring a set of methods for heel fracture manipulation and reset, here is one of the cases for your appreciation and correction! The fracture was then X-ray: after the manual reset: the time of cast fixation is generally in 4 to 6 weeks, then partial weight-bearing exercise, full weight-bearing to 3 months later. The effect is remarkable!
