Precautions after puncture biopsy

  1. Local compression of the puncture for 15 minutes; 2. Lie down or sit still for 1 hour; 3. Fasting from food and water for 2 hours; 4. Accompanying personnel to closely observe the patient’s heart rate, consciousness and temperature changes.  If the patient shows obvious pallor, rapid heart rate, weakness and cold extremities, please contact the doctor promptly.  5. Oral antibiotics are generally not required after surgery, but hemostatic drugs may be required; 6. Pick up the pathology report from the pathology department after one week.
