Do you have to worry about a few high tumor markers?

Tumor markers are elevated in several items and need to be viewed in conjunction with the magnitude of the elevation. If several items are slightly elevated, then there is usually no big problem, if several items are elevated a lot, or one of them is elevated a lot, then the possibility of a tumor should be considered.
Tumor markers are typically found in malignant tumor cells or are produced by the host in response to tumor stimulation, and therefore can reflect the occurrence and development of tumors. They can also be mildly elevated in benign diseases or in people who smoke or are pregnant.
Common tumor markers include AFP, CEA, CA125, CA199 and CA153. Tumor markers are only used as an auxiliary means of determining the disease, and further relevant examinations are needed to confirm the diagnosis.
If several tumor markers are found to be elevated, please follow the doctor’s instructions to improve the enhanced CT, ultrasound, gastroscopy, enteroscopy, pathology and histology section and other tests to further clarify the condition, so as not to delay the condition.
