Intermediate-differentiated tubular adenocarcinoma is a type of colon cancer. Intermediate-differentiated means that the cancer cells have some similarity to normal glandular duct epithelial cells, and it is between highly differentiated and poorly differentiated cancer cells in terms of malignancy. Tubular adenocarcinoma is pathologically described as the formation of glandular tubular structures in the cancerous tissue. Colon cancer is a malignant tumor of the gastrointestinal tract occurring in the colon area, and the preferred site is the rectum and the junction of the rectum and sigmoid colon. Most colon cancers are adenocarcinomas, which can be classified as highly differentiated, moderately differentiated, or poorly differentiated according to the degree of differentiation. In the presence of moderately differentiated tubular adenocarcinoma of the colon, surgical resection is recommended, with complete removal of the bowel segment containing the cancer of sufficient length and the corresponding mesentery of the bowel segment. After surgery, according to the pathological results, adjuvant therapy can be used to kill tumor cells and micrometastases in the body as much as possible, prolong the patient’s survival, improve the patient’s quality of life, promote the recovery of gastrointestinal function, reduce postoperative complications and lower the chance of tumor recurrence and metastasis. Pay attention to patient’s psychological adjustment, maintain optimistic mental state, reasonable diet, appropriate exercise, and enhance physical fitness.
