Therefore, severe pain often continues to torment advanced cancer patients for the rest of their lives, which makes their quality of life extremely low. Some patients lose their confidence in life and resort to suicide to relieve the endless torment of pain. The pain department of our hospital has developed the technology of “PCEA with high concentration and low volume of bupivacaine for advanced cancer pain” and “CT-guided double-needle rendezvous method of abdominal plexus block for cancer abdominal pain” with the financial support of the scientific research fund of the provincial health department, which provides an effective treatment for various kinds of advanced cancer pain. This technique has provided effective analgesia for various kinds of advanced cancer pain and greatly improved the quality of life of patients with advanced cancer pain.
