How long does it take for tennis elbow to heal on its own?

  Tennis elbow, also known as humeral epicondylitis, is a self-limiting disease that varies in healing time depending on the severity. Mild cases heal within one month with treatment; moderate to severe cases usually heal within three months with symptomatic systemic treatment; however, if no treatment is given, the healing time can be relatively longer.  Tennis elbow is an aseptic inflammatory disease caused by overactivity or trauma, which can recover and heal itself by removing the cause through rest and braking. Mild cases can be treated with rest and anti-inflammatory and analgesic medication. If the medication does not reduce the pain, closure therapy is required, usually once a week for 2-4 times. In addition, although the disease can be self-healing, but not without recurrence, and may come back later, need to pay attention to.
