It is not usually considered to be the cause of infusion, but mostly a systemic symptom accompanying upper respiratory tract infection; in a few cases, a large number of infusions can also cause electrolyte disturbance, causing body aches and pains, and blood biochemistry can be checked to confirm the diagnosis.
