Three patients with rheumatic mitral stenosis from the province, with a history of wind heart disease for 2–6 years, aged 43–78 years, two females and one male, who usually felt panic, shortness of breath, and weakness, especially after activity, were shown to have a mitral valve orifice area of 0.8–1.3 cm2, a significant increase in mitral flow velocity, and an enlarged left atrial internal diameter, including two cases with atrial fibrillation and cardiac function class 2–3, and one case One case was combined with a history of cerebral infarction for 1 year. On the morning of May 23, three patients underwent balloon dilatation under local anesthesia under the guidance of Director Zhang of Beijing Fu Wai Cardiovascular Hospital, and the surgery was successful. The left atrial pressure decreased to 6–9 mmHg compared with 16–23 mmHg before surgery, the patient’s symptoms improved compared with before surgery, the patient’s hemodynamics became more reasonable and stable, the average time of surgery was 45 minutes, three patients have achieved the expected clinical results, the next day after surgery, the patient has been out of bed, 3 days after surgery can be discharged, the medium and long-term efficacy is subject to further follow-up observation, because this technology Because this technology has many advantages such as light trauma, little pain, easy operation, reliable efficacy, low risk and complications, more in line with the concept of minimally invasive surgery, effectively avoiding the risk and trauma of open-heart valve replacement surgery, and without long-term medication, bringing a blessing to patients suffering from rheumatic mitral stenosis in our province, we have decided to continue to promote the development of this new technology, and to strive for excellence in technology! We decided to continue to promote this new technique and to improve it even more! We will accumulate more clinical experience so that more patients with rheumatic mitral stenosis in high-altitude areas can benefit.
