Explanation of “flesh strips” after double eyelid surgery

After double eyelid surgery, many girls are confused by the unsightly “flesh strips”. What is a flesh stripe and how is it formed, and how can I get rid of this annoying flesh stripe? The “flesh strip” is a thick bulge between the lower part of the eyelid line and the lid margin, which appears as a swollen appearance that does not subside, or darkens, which Korean doctors call “lid sausage”. The reasons for this “flesh strip” appearance are complex. Based on my clinical experience, I have generally divided the flesh strips into two categories: true and false. The real one is absolute thickening. Pseudo is mainly visual component. The causes of formation, more complex. However, according to clinical observation, the following reasons are common for the formation of “flesh strips”: too wide design, too high or low internal fixation point, wrong arc design, too much tissue removal under the incision, and tendon membrane injury. The repair should be based on the above different original surgical repair to solve. It is worth noting that girls cannot be overly demanding before doing double eyelids, which may be a valuable method to avoid by itself, and secondly, is to choose experienced doctors who have newer beauty concepts and aesthetics in line with the public to do double eyelid surgery. Once the “flesh strip”, do not worry too much, “flesh strip” no can not be removed, as long as the analysis of the specific causes of the formation of symptomatic treatment can be successfully resolved.
