What should women do to take care of their uterus and ovaries?

Host Continued: Hello everyone, welcome to “Hall of Famous Doctors”. The ovaries and uterus are the cradle of new life and the main reproductive organs of women, which also ensure the beauty of women. What are the bad habits that cause irreversible damage to our ovaries and uterus? With these questions, we are honored to invite Dr. Jiang Guoqing, chief gynecologist of Beijing Friendship Hospital, to talk to you today. Hello, Mr. Jiang, welcome to “Hall of Famous Doctors”.
Jiang Guoqing: Hello, host and Tencent users. I’m very happy to have the opportunity to discuss with you the health topic that women are more concerned about, how to protect women’s ovaries and uterus.
Host Continued: We just said that the ovaries and uterus are important reproductive organs, but besides their reproductive function, do they have any other functions?
Jiang Guoqing: This is a very good question. Let me tell you a little bit about the ovaries and the uterus and say that they belong to the internal reproductive organs of our women. The uterus is like an inverted pear-shaped organ, it is wide at the top and narrow at the bottom, then the top is called the body of the uterus, the bottom is called the cervix, and then its normal female size is about 7 by 6 by 5 centimeters, three-dimensional view.
Host Continued: Like a fist so big?
Jiang Guoqing: No. How big should it be? In fact, it should be the same as our eggs.
  Moderator continues: so small?
Jiang Guoqing: About the same. In the case of women of normal childbearing age, that is, women of childbearing age. If we say that the post-menopausal shrinkage and development of women before the smaller, called the young stage of the uterus is smaller. What is the function of a uterus? Its main function is the place where the fetus is conceived, so what do we say it is? The cradle of life, that is its main function. Now of course some people say it has other functions, called endocrine function, which is not its main, which is mainly like the destruction of the muscle of the uterus, it has endoglandins or oxytocin and so on, but this is not its main function. The main function, the main function of our uterus, it is the cradle of the fetus.
What about the ovaries? The ovaries are the female gonads, like the male testicles, and their function is probably more important than that of the uterus. Because the ovaries it regularly, women have two ovaries, women of reproductive age have one ovary every month alternatively, your follicles develop and mature to ovulate, so we’ll say that the conception of new life provides an egg, this is its reproductive function. At the same time, the ovaries mature and ovulate with the development of follicles in the menstrual cycle, and finally ovulate to form the corpus luteum and finally menstruation, a complete cycle, the ovaries also secrete estrogen, progesterone and even more or less androgens, so as to maintain our female sexual characteristics, including secondary sexual characteristics, that is, the development of breasts, genital development, and then there is a regular promotion of endometrial hyperplasia to the final change of genitalia This is the function of the ovary, which is to maintain our female sexual characteristics, including secondary sexual characteristics, breast development and genital development, and then to regularly promote the proliferation of the endometrium to the final change of the genitalia, and finally the change of the secretory apparatus after ovulation, and finally shedding and even bleeding for menstruation. In other words, in addition to the reproductive function of ovulation, the ovaries also have an endocrine function, which is important for the regular secretion of estrogen and progesterone to maintain the physiological characteristics of women.
Host Continued: How do the ovaries and the uterus work together in general?
Jiang Guoqing: This is a very good question, this topic. What is the relationship between the ovaries and the uterus? The ovaries are equivalent to the commander, it is the control organ.
The main reason for this is the fact that it is the only way to get the most out of the world.
The ovaries, respectively, through what, through endocrine conditions, through the secretion of estrogen, estrogen in the early menstrual secretion of estrogen can stimulate the endometrium, from a very thin state of hyperplasia, continuous growth and development, and then to a very thick state. When the proliferation reaches a certain point, after ovulation, the endometrium is engaged in the action of estrogen, and after ovulation, more progesterone is secreted at the same time, so that the proliferating endometrium becomes secretory, secretory endometrium and marginal edema, and the increase of glucose metabolism is thicker, and this period provides fertile soil to prepare for the fertilization of the egg. In fact, it means that the changes in the endometrium of the uterus are regulated by the androgens secreted by the ovaries, so it is a target organ, and the ovaries are like the commander, like the commander, it is controlling the development of the uterus.
Moderator Continues: One is giving orders and the other is working.
Jiang Guoqing: You can say that.
  Host Continued: Is that right?
  Jiang Guoqing: Yes.
The host continued: many women often appear some, sometimes there will be some acne this situation, we may say you endocrine disorders, according to you say is her ovaries some hormone secretion problems, is not the ovaries determine whether the female appearance is beautiful?
Jiang Guoqing: You can say so. Acne, acne we usually say is a beautiful acne or other acne, it is actually a dermatology called acne, right? Acne is actually more related to gynecology, what is related to women? It is caused by the high secretion of androgens.
Host Continued: Androgen secretion, our body also has androgens?
Jiang Guoqing: But women generally say that their ovaries also secrete androgens, but the amount is relatively small, but generally not as much as our normal lesbians, generally less likely to grow sores, will be brown skin these changes. When there is an endocrine disorder of androgens, for example, a common gynecological disease called polycystic ovary syndrome or other hyperandrogenemia, that is, after the development of the ovaries, the follicles develop abnormally, and then there is an obstacle in the process of conversion of androgens to estrogens, and when too much androgens are secreted, such as when they are secreted and released into the bloodstream, so that on our face Some patients may have oily skin, and some may even have rough skin and weight gain, which can be said to be a manifestation of endocrine disorders.
Host Continued: That means that the ovaries are very important to women, right?
  Jiang Guoqing: Yes.
The host continued: The ovaries and uterus, because it grows inside the body, it is not a very fragile organ? Are they vulnerable to injury?
Jiang Guoqing: Yes, the ovaries and uterus belong to the internal genitalia. I just talked about its anatomy. The uterus is located in the center of our pelvis, with the bladder in front of it and the rectum behind it. And the ovaries are located on both sides of the uterus, near the cardinal fossa, which is deeper.
Moderator Continued: Is it very safe?
Jiang Guoqing: The normal size, it will probably be as big as a small walnut.
The host continued: one is an egg, one is a walnut.
Jiang Guoqing: Yes, it can be compared to this, is a small walnut so big. So, it is normal to say that if we have trauma, there is not much chance of injuring the ovaries and uterus.
  Moderator continues: less often.
Jiang Guoqing: plus we now have a car accident or any other situation fractures, even pelvic fractures do not necessarily hurt the ovaries and uterus, because it is a relatively deep organ, but the ovaries are sensitive to what? They are more sensitive to radiation. Some women need radiotherapy for cervical cancer or ovarian cancer because of tumors in the uterus, and in this case, the hospital radiation can irradiate the pelvic cavity, which can harm the ovaries, because the ovaries are soon destroyed by the functional radiation, which is a more sensitive organ.
The host continued: This is the case, then our uterus and ovaries it has some common diseases, what are they?
Jiang Guoqing: It can cause a variety of diseases. The four most common symptoms of women are menstruation, pain, band, and lumps. Menstruation is menstruation, abnormal menstruation. Right? The band is the abnormalities of the leucorrhea. Then pain is pain. Is that right? And then there’s a mass, a lump. Let’s start with the uterus, the uterus the longest occurring disease, the most common is prone to tumors, like the lower uterus called the cervix.
  Moderator continued: cervical cancer.
Jiang Guoqing: cervical cancer, cervical cancer lesions, chronic uterine inflammation, tumors of the uterine body are prone to endometrial cancer is more common, or rare uterine sarcoma, right? And then the tumor is this. Inflammatory diseases can also be said to be, like chronic cervicitis, endometritis, and special ones like endometriosis caused by ectopic accumulation of the uterus causing pre-emergent uterine disease. There are also diseases related to pregnancy, such as cervical pregnancy, pregnancy at the horn of the uterus, etc. This is also related to the head, that is, pelvic floor injury caused by childbirth resulting in uterine prolapse or vaginal uterine prolapse, these can also be considered diseases of the uterus, etc. This is the disease of the uterus.
The host continued: this uterus disease is really a lot, a lot.
The most common is the ovaries, as we have just mentioned, the ovaries, the two ovaries alternate ovulation, every moment there are cells inside the ovaries constantly proliferate, develop, mature, and finally ovulate. Therefore, the cells in the ovaries are in a very active state of proliferation, so if there is any abnormality in any part of the ovaries, abnormal cell proliferation may occur, what? A tumor. Right? Therefore, the ovary is a very multifaceted organ, which contains tissues from the external, middle and internal levels of our body. Therefore, besides being prone to tumors, the ovary is also prone to tumors of very complex tissue types, including tumors of various organs of our body. The most common type is tumor.
Of course, the most common type of tumor in urban women is endometriosis, endometriosis in white collar workers, ectopic cysts in the ovaries due to late marriage and late childbearing, which is also called chocolate cysts in the ovaries, which is more common. Another one is that the female genitalia are connected to the abdominal cavity through the vagina, cervix and fallopian tubes. If the upper body infection is caused by physical or impure sex, it can cause abscesses in the fallopian tubes and ovaries, which can also harm our ovaries. Now it seems to be quite common, we see many such cases in the ward.
The host continued: that is the uterus and ovaries are actually a lot, I think, you just said so many diseases. And I think it seems like uterine cysts are also really common nowadays, especially in women of our age group.
Jiang Guoqing: Ovarian cysts and uterine tumors are the most common diseases in our gynecology department. It varies in frequency or tumor occurrence in different age groups. For example, in women of childbearing age, the most common ovarian tumors, ovarian cysts, epithelial cysts, can also occur, as we said earlier, is the endometrium, ovarian, endometriosis cysts and chocolate cysts. Of course, there are also some functional ones, such as follicular cysts or corpus luteum cysts, which we don’t call ovarian cysts, and of course, some patients can develop malignant tumors of the ovary, that is, ovarian cancer. But more people, adolescent children, before the development of the ovaries can also occur such as germ cell tumors, benign, but also some germ cell malignant tumors, interstitial malignant tumors, immature other tumors and other malignant tumors of reproductive organs. But some of these women also develop ovarian tumors, benign ones such as ovarian epithelial tumors, cystic tumors of the ovary as mentioned earlier, and then there are also some that we see, such as fibroids, follicular membrane granulosa cell tumors, and of course, more malignant tumors of the ovary, epithelial and mesenchymal malignancies of the ovary than younger patients. The malignant tumors of ovarian epithelium and mesenchymal tumors are also frequently seen in postmenopausal women.
Host Continued: You have just mentioned so many tumors, I think there are a lot of them, and now we often hear that women have to have their uterus or ovaries removed due to certain diseases.
Jiang Guoqing: Especially after the hysterectomy, women will not have menstruation, some women of childbearing age, the harm to the body may be that the harm to the body’s personal health or physique is not so great, may be more for women is the psychological impact, for example, women say I cut the hysterus and do not have menstruation, may be for her psychologically speaking is not older, the impact on her psychological or psychological impact. In 2014, there was a great progress in obstetrics and gynecology, that is, a woman who did not have a uterus successfully delivered a 28-week premature child by transplanting an old man’s uterus into her body and getting pregnant, but this shows that it gives hope to those who do not have a uterus, that is, the development of clinical technology in obstetrics and gynecology. Of course, this means that the biggest impact on female secretion is that most women cannot have children or do not menstruate after the loss of the uterus.
  Host Continued: Impact on fertility.
Jiang Guoqing: Yes, the impact is relatively small, especially after the removal of ovaries, especially women of childbearing age or adolescent women, women of childbearing age, if the ovaries are removed, the ovaries not only lose their reproductive function, not only no eggs to fertilize the fetus, it is impossible to get pregnant and have children. But more importantly, as I mentioned earlier, after ovariectomy, women do not have regular estrogen and progesterone support, so the loss of endocrine function will lead to early onset of postmenopausal symptoms, such as dysregulation of vasodilation and contraction, which will lead to ovarian sweating, genital atrophy, i.e., vulva, vaginal atrophy or reduction of vaginal secretions, and even the uterus, which will remain in the uterus. The uterus can also atrophy, which is its effect on the genitalia. At the same time, there can also be a dysfunction of the vegetative nerves, the patient may appear personality changes and mood changes, more impatient, more worried and so on these changes, in addition to this can also occur in our women’s most concerned about osteoporosis, which is with.
Moderator continued: on osteoporosis actually have an impact.
Jiang Guoqing: Yes, the patient osteoporosis, joint pain, the patient her osteoporosis, if the film or bone densitometry, see her osteoporosis, density is very poor, it is easy to occur, not a normal person a slight touch or a fall patient prone to fracture, she has this condition. It can also have an effect on our blood lipid and sugar metabolism as well. This effect is more, a long-term or long-term process, and even some patients can also appear what? Alzheimer’s, that is to say, because of the low stimulation caused by the development of our brain nervous system is affected, then Alzheimer’s occurs. Of course, Alzheimer’s is not only a factor of estrogen, but also other factors, at least one of them. Therefore, the loss of ovarian function has a comprehensive impact on women’s health.
Moderator continued: In fact, we need to protect our ovaries and uterus in our daily life, so can we prevent these diseases that you just mentioned?
Jiang Guoqing: At present, some diseases can be prevented. For example, if you look at the diseases of the uterus, you can see that the hot spots that we are currently concerned about, such as cervical lesions and cervical cancer, are of great concern to women. These can be prevented by, for example, keeping ourselves clean and avoiding unclean sexual intercourse. This is because cervical lesions and cervical cancer are caused by sexual intercourse, and the infection, especially the persistence of high-risk HPV, known as HPV for short, is prone to cervical lesions, especially if this high-risk virus persists for more than six months, and finally leads to cervical cancer in a long-term process. In fact, this can be avoided by regulating our life behavior, which is caused by our bad life behavior.
Then there are regular medical checkups, because the cervix is an exposed organ, we can have regular annual medical checkups in various units or hospitals, so that we can prevent diseases if we don’t have them, and we can have three early treatments, early detection, early diagnosis and early treatment, so that cervical diseases can be eliminated in the nascent state and not cause cancer in the end. This is our treatment for cervical diseases.
For example, for uterine diseases and other endometrial lesions, we can also closely observe whether the patient has symptoms, menstrual disorders, postmenopausal bleeding, etc. If not, it is convenient to do ultrasound to observe whether the uterus has postmenopausal lesions, and we can see whether the endometrium is thickened, etc. We can also pay attention to this aspect of uterine diseases or fibroids, and we can be detected by the gynecologist’s examination as well as by ultrasound. But this is one.
How do we protect the uterus? It’s very important to take care of reproductive health and then to have contraception. I don’t know if the host has paid attention to the fact that China is now a large population, do you know the number of women who have abortions every year?
I don’t really know, but I do know that the number is increasing and getting younger and younger.
Jiang Guoqing: Yes, there are statistics on this, I saw the news media reported that it is about 13 million.
Host Continued: 13 million, what a huge number.
Jiang Guoqing: 13 million abortions, and then many of them are young, some college students. This abortion is frequently done, or the number of people occurring, what is the danger of doing this? In fact, abortion, whether it is a medical abortion or a surgical abortion, her uterus, the endometrium is an injury. This injury is prone to inflammation of the endometrium and then causes adhesions of the uterus in the uterine cavity, which is a very important factor leading to future pregnancies. Frequent abortions can cause the accumulation of endometriosis, resulting in uterine slack migration, etc. Also, abortions can cause endometrial debris, and the blood can be displaced to the abdominal cavity through the fallopian tubes, resulting in pelvic cavity, which can cause endometriosis, or stimulate infection, resulting in pelvic inflammation and infection, which can cause infertility, leaving a very big hidden problem. Therefore, contraception is a very important measure for women. The reason for this is that, as if an unplanned pregnancy, that is to say, we have remedies to do, that is the last resort, if we do continue, we are now looking at the hospital to see the clinic, we ask patients, almost can not say 100%, most women, most of them have a history of abortion.
Moderator continued: This is the case.
Jiang Guoqing: In fact, this is a big hidden danger. It also includes, is a good contraceptive measures. The third, there is another is that we women now give birth, is the pelvic floor has a recovery process after childbirth, right? And then there is also, now women are giving birth to one, the second child is liberalized, not many women have more children, but after menopause, that is, after the decline of ovarian function, estrogen secretion level decreases, causing the pelvic floor muscle fascia ligament relaxation, can cause what? Our uterus falls down, which means that it causes uterine prolapse, which is actually a damage to the uterus. What can be done to improve this? Through our postpartum, pelvic floor rehabilitation training. Another very simple thing is that we women can do pelvic floor exercises, exercise our pelvic floor pelvic muscle, pelvic muscle around the ligaments and muscles regular training is also beneficial, these are three, right? There is another about the ovaries, ovarian maintenance we are the most important, or it is most likely to occur is a tumor, some infection, through our life, on the ovaries and fallopian tubes can be through our own resistance to improve, and then maintain the cleanliness of the genitalia, a keep free of impure sex can be avoided. But the ovary is a walnut-sized organ, it is born in the deep pelvic cavity, we generally can not touch, not that the patient can not touch, it does not grow tumors, the doctor can not touch.
The host continued: so you can not check.
Jiang Guoqing: so ovarian maintenance, we are more through the doctor’s examination, in addition to radiation, through some auxiliary examination, B ultrasound or other problems to do CT and nuclear magnetic, try to achieve early detection, early diagnosis, early treatment of the ovaries, and including we can determine the ovaries, the determination of some ovarian tumor-related tumor markers, such as CA125, CA199, CAAPF and CASE and so on. We can also measure ovarian tumor-related markers, such as CA125, CA199, CAAPF, CASE, etc., to detect ovarian tumors as early as possible.
The host continued: In fact, we must pay attention in our daily life. I often hear that many women have menstrual cramps and talk about uterine cold and warming the uterus.
Jiang Guoqing: about the warm and cold uterus of this is the Chinese medicine, Western medicine has five elements, it is the identification of the treatment to consider. Western medicine is not this concept, Western medicine believes that dysmenorrhea does not mean that there is no relationship with the cold and warming of the uterus, it is not clear, but some women, dysmenorrheal women especially after the stimulation of cold, including the weather becomes damp, cool, including after eating some cold food in the stomach, will occur the intensification of dysmenorrhea. In fact, there are two types of dysmenorrhea in women: primary dysmenorrhea and iatrogenic dysmenorrhea. Although the cause of this kind of dysmenorrhea is not clear, most of them are not caused by organic lesions, and this kind of patients usually take some painkillers, anti-inflammatory pain or painkillers to relieve the pain, or the monthly painkillers will be relieved. However, more women have pains that do not start when they have their periods, but are immediate, or they have menstrual pains that occur several years after they have their periods. These are caused by the endometriosis I just mentioned.
Moderator Continues: There is a disease.
Jiang Guoqing: Endometriosis, for example, ectopic to the base of the uterus, causing adenomyosis leading to dysmenorrhea, this patient’s dysmenorrhea may be very pronounced, the immediate aggravation, if you do not intervene it will become more and more powerful, or the endometriosis to the ovaries to form ovarian ectopic cysts, or we also call the ovarian chocolate cysts, this part of the patient can also appear dysmenorrhea. Of course, more people may not necessarily have dysmenorrhea, it will show chronic pelvic pain, or lower abdominal pain can also show, is this situation.
Host Continued: Now we often hear the term “premature aging of the uterus”, what does this premature aging of the uterus mean? What kind of symptoms does it have?
Jiang Guoqing: premature aging of the uterus?
  Host Continued: Yes.
Jiang Guoqing: How can we say it, it seems that this concept is not very common in our doctors, in medical terms.
The host continued: When does this uterus aging mean?
Jiang Guoqing: We say that the aging of the uterus is after menopause, the uterus has shrunk.
  The host continued: after menopause.
In fact, the example I just mentioned, transplanting a post-menopausal uterus to a young lesbian can still get pregnant, in fact, the uterus through the transplanted uterus to give it estrogen support, the patient can actually get pregnant, it is an immediate change, in fact, it is reversible, not real aging. It’s actually reversible, it’s not really aging. However, as I understand it, early aging of the ovaries, what we call premature aging, early decline, in general women, menopause around 50 years old or the average age of menopause for women in Beijing is a little more than 49 years old, this kind of patients, because after menopause at 49 years old, after the decline of ovarian function, the uterus slowly began to atrophy, metamorphosis. Of course, if we talk about premature ovarian failure, it means that the ovaries are in advance, that is, they appear before the age of 40, that is, they are in decline. We call it premature ovarian failure, after the premature failure of this part of the performance what? After premature failure, what does this part of the body show? It stops menstruating, and then the estrogen level in the body drops dramatically. We have ovarian sweating, bone and joint pain and so on some changes, at this time may also occur a series of uterus follow also change, or slowly atrophy, metamorphosis, in fact, can also be said because of the early decline of the ovaries, premature failure led to the early uterus is also aging or decline, also can be said so.
Host Continued: In fact, the main problem is the ovaries?
  Jiang Guoqing: Yes.
Host Continued: Then you say, is the ovarian hormone it atrophy and then lead to our women is aging, then I can control the ovarian hormone to let women delay aging, let her more beautiful, longer?
Jiang Guoqing: This is a very good question. We all want to live longer and have a better quality of life, or a healthier life, is there a drug to slow down aging or even live forever? The ancient emperors wanted to live forever and live longer, so they asked the imperial physicians to find some medicines, but in fact we have not heard any scientific evidence that any medicine can delay the aging of women indefinitely. Of course, we can say that from the medical point of view, we regulate our own that is, we regulate our life behavior and habits to prevent diseases, to prevent diseases of the ovaries and uterus, so that it is in a good state of function, which means that it is a protection. Of course, can we also have some other methods to protect the ovaries? Besides medical intervention, we can also prevent ovarian cancer through food, such as healthy food, some food that is rich in nutrients, such as vegetables, fruits, carotene, vitamin C, vitamin E and calcium intake, which can prevent the occurrence of ovarian cancer.
Host Continued: is some natural food nutrient intake.
Jiang Guoqing: Yes, it can be. Of course, this is useful. There is also a component called soy isoflavones, which is similar to the role of estrogen, it is called phytoestrogens, this can also be a supplement to our ovaries, the secretion of estrogen in vitro. This also has a certain protective effect on our ovaries.
The host continued: that is, we through their own diet of some methods, our uterus and ovaries actually have a protective effect, but also can slow down their own aging.
Jiang Guoqing: I would like to add that some women, in order to pay attention to their health and stay young and beautiful for a longer period of time, drink some Chinese medicine, such as ginseng or American ginseng, or even some ginseng or some other medicines, such as wolfberry or soaked in wine, to make medicinal wine to drink, which I do not advocate. The hospital where I used to work, Beijing Cancer Hospital, has a head nurse, she is from Fujian, their place is very popular is to use medicinal food, especially drinking medicinal wine, as a result, for a period of time she measured, physical examination is to determine the serum, estrogen levels are particularly high. But we, she was already menopausal and in her 50’s. At that time, we thought that we could not find the cause. She said I didn’t take any medicine, I said think carefully, she later recalled that I often drank some medicinal wine, medicinal wine is also ginseng and some other Chinese medicine bubble wine to drink, and finally said that caused estrogen elevation. Later I said, I advised her to stop drinking this medicine to see if it had anything to do with it, and then she stopped drinking the medicine and went to check, and her estrogen immediately dropped to normal levels. Later, we analyzed whether her elevated estrogen level was related to her diet or to the fact that she had eaten and drunk this medicine and wine. Therefore, I suggest that we women should try to eat a natural diet, which is based on the things we can come across in our daily life and which are often persistent in our daily life, instead of deliberately listening to some media propaganda and eating too many so-called supplements, such as ginseng and royal jelly or other health food products that seem to be useful but actually bring harm to our female reproduction, ovaries and uterus. In fact, it is harmful to our female reproduction, ovaries and uterus. We have often come across children before puberty who drink royal jelly causing precocious puberty, and at the age of 8 or 7 or even earlier, people have menstruation and precocious puberty, which has been reported. There are scientific reasons to maintain the role of immortality of our women, or more according to our usual diet to choose some of our balanced diet, choose our usual, often eat some things can be.
The host continued: Now the market is actually also popular is some of the uterus and ovaries of some massage what SPA this method, so some of the massage methods on our reproductive organs these protection has a role?
Jiang Guoqing: massage is the body surface massage or?
The host continued: Yes, the body surface massage.
The body surface massage, perhaps we have some points on the body surface of Chinese medicine, through the meridian pathway for our women, that is, the ovaries and uterus may have a certain role, although I am not engaged in Western medicine, not too specialized in this area, but the real uterus and ovarian diseases have any therapeutic effect, have not heard too much.
The host continued: there is not much scientific basis is it?
Jiang Guoqing: Of course, as a health care measure, through the lower bones and pelvic points for massage, to promote the meridian unblocking, and one is to maintain the blood circulation of the local organs, is to promote blood circulation may have a certain health care effect, at least some women she pressed, may feel more comfortable, this is also possible.
The host continued: she felt, psychologically feel that there has been an effect.
Jiang Guoqing: Yes, but can really cure the disease this is no scientific basis.
Moderator continued: Okay, I understand. I think Mr. Jiang spoke very well and comprehensively today, and finally you can give us a summary of what we should start with to maintain our uterus and ovaries?
Jiang Guoqing: Here I would like to summarize, I would like to say three points. The first point is to be clean and avoid an unclean sex life.
Host Continued: This is very important.
Jiang Guoqing: This is very important. Some of our women’s diseases, including uterine and ovarian diseases are caused by outside infections, so by avoiding, through this way at least cut off the infection this way. The second is to have the awareness of frequent medical checkups, at least women should do a medical checkup every year, and now many units can have a special annual routine medical checkup or you go to the hospital medical checkup at least once a year, of course, you high-risk groups you can half a year medical checkup, which can do early detection, early diagnosis and early treatment of ovarian and uterine diseases. Then there is another, the third we can strengthen some of their own exercise, like doing some pelvic floor, restore the pelvic floor function training, anal retraction, etc., to strengthen our pelvic floor training, to avoid uterine prolapse is also a very good means.
Host Continued: Thank you very much Mr. Jiang for being our guest on this episode of “Hall of Fame”, we are finished with this episode, see you next time.
