How to review breast cancer after surgery?

Breast cancer is a disease that requires long-term observation and treatment, and needs to be reviewed regularly. After effective treatment, breast cancer can be remitted and controlled, but it is not equal to cured. Some people think that breast cancer will be fine after 5 years, which is not true. It can only mean that as the number of years of survival after treatment increases, the probability of breast cancer metastasis and recurrence becomes smaller and smaller. Therefore, you should also go to the hospital for regular review after treatment is over. The time of review is usually: ① within 2 years, once every 3 months; ② between 2 and 5 years, once every 6 months; ③ over 5 years, once a year. If symptoms such as chest pain, unexplained low back pain, or cough that is not cured for a long time appear, you should visit the hospital at any time. At each review, you should give a detailed account of your uncomfortable symptoms and treatment, so that the doctor can have a focused examination, and even with recurrence and metastasis, early diagnosis and timely treatment can be achieved.
