In children with fever and tummy pain, acute intestinal infections such as acute appendicitis and acute enteritis are most often considered. If there is vomiting and diarrhoea, it is most likely due to eating something unclean or due to bacterial or viral infections, so go to the hospital promptly and complete relevant abdominal tests to further clarify the cause. It is also important to rest, drink plenty of warm water and eat a light diet during the fever.
