Novel coronavirus pneumonia is clinically dreadful, with a high infectious rate and a high mortality rate. The mortality rate is particularly high in elderly patients and in patients with underlying disease. Clinically, everyone can be infected, and mild cases may be cured by isolation and improvement. However, in severe cases, there is general weakness, shortness of breath, and a significant decline in cardiopulmonary function, with malignant changes such as pulmonary fibrosis, leading to clinical death. The complications may include shock, respiratory distress syndrome, acidosis, and other changes. The clinical risk to the body is particularly great and requires early detection and treatment.
