Environmental infertility Over the years, I have received infertility patients every day in my clinic. A few of them do have fertility defects and physiological disorders, but most couples do not have diseases that affect conception, which I call “environmental infertility”, that is, infertility caused by their own endocrine environment. We know that the rate of unwanted conception can be about 70%, while the rate of active conception is only about 30%. The former is sex for the sake of sex, and the endocrine tendency is characterized by excitement, while the latter is just the opposite, sex for the sake of pregnancy, and the endocrine tendency is tension. Excitement helps ovulation and fertilization, while tension inhibits it, which is why the rate of unwanted conception is high and the rate of active conception is low. The treatment of “environmental infertility” does not require any medication, but only conception guidance.
