What are the methods and challenges to reduce the death rate of new coronary pneumonia

Previously, the high morbidity and mortality rate of novel coronavirus pneumonia was because early detection, isolation, and treatment were not achieved in a timely manner in the early stages of the disease outbreak. In addition, due to the high number of severe cases, there were not enough medical resources to treat the severely ill patients at that time. The challenge of reducing the morbidity and mortality rate lies mainly in the conflict between the increasing number of patients and the available medical resources. At present, the conditions for treating seriously and critically ill patients have been improved, the government has expanded the number of beds in the existing designated hospitals, and a number of centralized admission hospitals such as Vulcan Mountain Hospital, Thunder God Mountain Hospital and Fang Cabin Hospital have been put into operation. Some of the patients who were not diagnosed earlier were admitted to hospitals and treated, thus reducing the death rate.
