Is more exercise better for fatty liver?

The treatment of fatty liver requires comprehensive measures, relying solely on drugs is not economical and ineffective, while exercise therapy is both economical and casual; both scientific and safe. So some people think that as long as they exercise reasonably, they don’t need to take drugs. In fact, this is also a wrong point of view, fatty liver is not a simple disease, especially when accompanied by diabetes, hepatitis, hyperlipidemia, cirrhosis and other diseases, simply by exercise therapy simply can not achieve significant therapeutic effect, and exercise can not relieve the disease brought about by a variety of uncomfortable symptoms, therefore, when necessary, drugs are a necessary choice. The more exercise programs, the better? The whole body low-intensity dynamic exercise aimed at exercising the whole body strength and endurance, i.e. aerobic exercise, such as jogging, medium to fast walking (115-125/min), cycling, going up and down stairs, climbing hills, playing badminton, playing shuttlecock, patting pickleball, dancing, radio gymnastics, rope skipping and swimming, etc., can make sympathetic excitation, decrease plasma insulin, while catecholamine, glucagon and growth hormone secretion increase, inhibit the synthesis of triglycerides and promote lipolysis. Exercise programs for patients with fatty liver should be based on low-intensity, prolonged aerobic exercise, but the key is to suit your own situation. If you choose an exercise program that you cannot tolerate or that is too easy, you will not achieve the desired therapeutic effect. The longer the exercise time, the better? With “intensity x time” to express the amount of exercise, high intensity exercise duration should be relatively short, if the intensity is low then the duration should be long, should be considered in accordance with the fatty liver patient’s life background and obesity degree of time and intensity with. The amount of exercise is gradually increased and made constant, orderly and moderate, and the prescribed exercise targets must be completed at each exercise. Take walking as an example, you can gradually increase from 5,000 steps/day to 7,000-10,000 steps, and then walk at a fast pace to increase the amount of exercise in stages; you can follow the principle of “3, 5, 7”, that is, 3,000 meters per day (within 30 min), 5 times per week, and the sum of pulse and age after each walk is 170. Exercise amount The heavier the better? Fatty liver patients should choose the appropriate amount of exercise according to the degree of fatigue and pulse after exercise, in order to accelerate the pulse during exercise, fatigue disappears within 10-20 minutes after exercise is appropriate. If there is mild fatigue after exercise, but good mental state, good physical strength, good sleep and good appetite, it means that the amount of exercise is appropriate. If you feel very tired after exercise, limbs sore and heavy, dizziness, weakness, poor appetite, poor sleep, the next morning is still very tired, tired of exercise, indicating that the amount of exercise is too much, need to adjust in time. If breathing difficulties, pallor, nausea and vomiting occur during exercise, you should immediately stop exercising and take appropriate treatment if necessary.
