Tumor patients do not need to “avoid eating”.

Most of the malignant tumor patients, especially the late stage patients, have poor appetite, tasteless diet and greatly reduced food consumption, but the tumor also consumes excessive energy of human body, and even appears to be eosinophilic, at this time, excessive emphasis on “avoiding food” is not conducive to nutritional intake, and the anti-disease power will be weakened, which is not conducive to recovery. Therefore, for all malignant tumor patients, the diet should not be too strict and the recipes should not be too narrow, and the necessary dietary supplements and therapies should be given according to the strength of digestive and absorption functions of spleen and stomach and the cold and heat deficiency of the disease. A diet with high protein and vitamin is appropriate to make up for the excessive consumption of tumor and improve the immune function and anti-cancer ability of the body. As to say that fish, shrimp and seafood are “hairy”, there is a lack of sufficient scientific evidence. Over the years of clinical observation, we have not seen any cases of recurrence or deterioration due to diet. Some patients ate a lot of chicken, fish, shrimp, sea cucumber, and some ate mutton, rabbit, and dog meat, but they did not relapse or worsen their disease. In my opinion, the amount of tonic and seafood should not be too large at a time, but a small amount every day, and the main and side dishes should be reasonably matched, so as to be nutritious, comprehensive and easy to digest and absorb.
