Post-stenting for coronary artery disease

Some patients with coronary artery disease have been stabilized for many years after PCI + stenting and after western antithrombotic and lipid regulating treatments, while others have experienced angina attacks again after a period of stabilization, which usually requires coronary angiography to determine whether to perform another intervention or bypass surgery, which is indeed a difficult point in the modern treatment of coronary artery disease. My personal experience is that herbal treatment is certainly effective in eliminating angina pectoris in coronary artery disease, increasing patients’ physical strength and improving their quality of life. Fu Yalong, Cardiovascular Department, Guang’anmen Hospital, Chinese Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine Case: There was a 70-year-old male patient who suffered from diabetes in his 40s, had a myocardial infarction soon after, had 3 stents installed twice in the previous years, had to be hospitalized every year, and had a very poor quality of life. The patient has been seeing me for almost 2 years, and has been treated with Chinese herbal tonics while using the same western medicine, starting with one dose a day for most of the year, and then changing to 2 doses on 3 days, and so far has not been hospitalized for heart problems.
