Bedwetting is the common name for enuresis. It is a condition in which children over 5 years of age cannot control urination on their own and often urinate after going to sleep. It is not noticed until after waking up. However, if a child under the age of 3 years old has temporary enuresis due to incomplete neurological development, normal habits of urination, or playfulness and sleeplessness, and excessive mental fatigue, it is a normal phenomenon and not a disease. If a child over 3 years old cannot control urination and wets the bed every time he or she sleeps, forming a routine, then it is a disease. If left untreated for a long time, it can affect the child’s spirit and life, which is more harmful. Bedwetting is common in children under 10 years of age, and can occasionally be extended to 12-18 years of age, the domestic survey of school-age children found that the incidence of 5%-12%, boys are more common than girls.
