The second department of respiratory medicine in 88 hospital, in cooperation with the pharmacy department, has successfully developed in situ tuberculosis drug gel, which is liquid at low temperature and gel at body temperature (37.0℃), and the gel drug is directly infused into the tuberculosis lesion (cavity) by tracheoscopy (or puncture). The drug is filled in the lesion in the form of a gel, and the cavity is closed and continuously sterilized. It is a powerful weapon for the treatment of this type of patients and greatly improves the success rate of treatment. Case 1: The patient was suffering from double pulmonary tuberculosis with continuous bacteriophage excretion for 18 years, and all the anti-tuberculosis drugs were ineffective. Case 2: A patient with right lower lung tuberculosis and cavity formation, poor drug treatment, persistent positive sputum bacilli and intrapulmonary dissemination, tuberculosis bacilli culture showed multi-drug resistant tuberculosis, sputum bacilli turned negative after tracheoscopic intervention with gel drug infusion.
