Can rheumatic diseases be cured?

After three to six months of regular treatment, most patients’ symptoms will be significantly reduced, but it does not mean that the disease has been completely cured. However, it does not mean that the disease is completely cured. Because the lesions in the body are not really eliminated at this time, they will still relapse once the medication is stopped or stimulated by the outside world. Only a longer period of time, or even lifelong application of disease-modifying drugs, can slow down or stop the progress of the disease. Therefore, when the condition is stable, the side effects of drugs can be withdrawn and reduced one by one under the guidance of a doctor, and finally, long-term maintenance treatment with drugs that have a high level of safety. It is a fact that most rheumatic diseases are difficult to be cured. The current medical level can only reach this level, but it does not mean that it is still treatable. Through regular and systematic medication, most patients can control the disease, relieve symptoms, prevent disability, improve the quality of life and save lives. If rheumatic diseases are not treated or not treated systematically, the disease is often delayed, leading to disability and even life-threatening. With the in-depth research on the pathogenesis of rheumatic diseases, the radical cure for rheumatic diseases, such as stem cell transplantation, is being tested in clinical trials, and there is reason to believe that rheumatic diseases can definitely be cured in the near future. The so-called “ancestral secret recipes”, charlatan doctors, fake drugs to take advantage of the false entry, improperly exaggerate the side effects of Western drugs, so that a significant proportion of rheumatism patients suffer from them, and the diagnosis and treatment of rheumatism must be built to the rheumatology or rheumatology immunology of large hospitals to ensure that it is possible. Various rheumatic diseases, especially autoimmune rheumatic diseases, often have systemic multi-system and multi-organ damage, with complex symptoms, and often become difficult and complicated because of the complex and variable clinical manifestations. The course of rheumatic diseases is somewhat chronic and prolonged, and some of them have an outbreak. Diagnosis and treatment are quite tedious and complicated, and the irregular use of drugs often makes diagnosis and treatment more difficult. The diagnosis of patients requires not only a detailed medical history and physical examination, but also various antibody and other tests, and the treatment after diagnosis is a long-term process.
