What are the symptoms of the new coronary pneumonia

Fever, malaise, and dry cough are the main manifestations of novel coronavirus pneumonia. A few patients will have symptoms such as nasal congestion, runny nose, and diarrhea, while some patients only present with low-grade fever and mild malaise without pneumonia manifestations and mostly recover after a week. In contrast, severe cases tend to develop respiratory distress after one week, and severe cases may rapidly progress to acute respiratory distress syndrome, septic shock, uncorrectable metabolic acidosis and bleeding and coagulation dysfunction. In addition, heavy and critically ill patients may present with moderate to low fever or even no apparent fever, thus requiring vigilance.
