How can I watch out for the progression of breast cancer?

Globally, about 1.4 million people are diagnosed with breast cancer each year and about 500,000 women die from the disease. In China, about 200,000 women are detected with breast cancer every year, and the incidence rate has been increasing in the past 10 years. Compared with western countries, the median age of women with breast cancer in China is 48 years old, which is ten years earlier than western countries. So, how should we pay attention to the progress of breast cancer on a daily basis? Six changes in the middle stage of breast cancer: 1. Orange peel sign: When breast cancer patients are in the middle and late stage, it is easy to cause the sunken surface of the breast, just like an orange peel. It also does not exclude the possibility of inflammatory breast cancer, which may even involve the whole breast. 2. Breast pain: Breast pain is not a common symptom of breast tumor, usually in early stage breast cancer, some of them have pain as the only symptom, which will be aggravated when lying on the side. According to the survey, the detection rate of breast cancer will increase if postmenopausal women have breast pain and glandular thickening. This is one of the symptoms in the middle and late stages of breast cancer. Dimple sign: The tumor in the superficial part of the breast invades the suspensory ligament and causes it to lose its elasticity and contracture, thus pulling the skin and causing local depression, forming a dimple shape. However, not all patients with dimple shape are breast cancer, if there is chronic inflammation in the breast, it may also cause skin depression. 4.Change of nipple and areola: It is also one of the symptoms of breast cancer in the middle and late stages. 5. Lymph nodes: Breast cancer will develop rapidly in the middle and late stages, and then it will invade the lymphatic vessels and metastasize to its local lymphatic drainage area. The most common site of lymphatic metastasis is the ipsilateral axillary lymph node. 6. Breast lumps: When breast cancer develops to a certain extent, they will be raised on the skin surface with or without skin pigmentation.
