Epilepsy, commonly known as “goat’s horn”, is a recurrent disease of any age, male or female, with abnormal brain discharges that cause transient brain dysfunction. Secondary epilepsy is mainly secondary to various lesions in the brain, such as tumors, inflammation, hemorrhage, trauma, degeneration, etc., or systemic factors that cause brain changes. There are mainly generalized seizures, partial seizures, and seizures that cannot be classified. Treatment principles: symptomatic treatment is the main treatment for those without etiology, and symptomatic treatment is added on top of etiological treatment for those with etiology. A small number of symptomatic treatment is ineffective when surgical treatment is optional.
