The spinal cord belongs to the central nervous system and is located in the spinal canal. Spinal cord diseases include inflammation, compression disorders (tumors, etc.), degenerative diseases and vascular diseases. Intraspinal spinal canal tumors are relatively common diseases in our department. The clinical manifestations of spinal canal tumor can cause slash-like or pinprick-like pain due to nerve root irritation, which can be persistent or intermittent, and numbness. Some patients may have difficulty in urination and constipation. Since the vast majority of spinal canal tumors are benign tumors, early surgical removal is effective. For patients with frequent back and leg pain, weakness or numbness of both lower limbs, they should be alerted and undergo MRI of the spine in time for early detection and early treatment. In recent years, our department has successfully operated on more than hundreds of patients with spinal intravertebral tumors, and all of them were discharged from the hospital cured.
