Most glans redness caused by foreskin irritation and allergy will disappear on its own. And most of the glans redness caused by infection can be cured after treatment. Some conditions whose cause is not fully understood, such as hyperplastic erythema, are more difficult to treat and may sometimes require surgical removal to cure.
