How to live a healthy life with breast cancer?

Obesity is a high risk factor for breast cancer and is also detrimental to the cardiovascular system. Therefore, weight control is quite important for breast cancer patients. After standardized treatment, breast cancer patients do not have strict dietary restrictions and can follow the normal healthy dietary standards. In addition indiscriminate use of estrogen can increase the risk of breast cancer recurrence. Therefore, breast cancer patients should strictly limit the use of health supplements containing estrogen. Exercise is also important for breast cancer patients. Exercise can keep the weight within the normal range, which is also beneficial to prevent the recurrence of breast cancer metastasis. Some patients who need endocrine therapy will develop bone and joint pain while taking medication, and appropriate exercise within the tolerated range can also reduce the pain. However, if a patient develops bone metastases, exercise should be limited, as excessive exercise increases the risk of fracture. In conclusion, breast cancer is not a scary disease, as it has been treated as a chronic disease for long-term treatment and follow-up internationally.
