Symptoms of frozen shoulder

Frozen shoulder is mainly characterized by shoulder pain, movement disorders and muscle atrophy. The disease is most likely to occur around the age of 50. Long-term strain injury, wind and cold attack, and traumatic factors can all cause frozen shoulder. Frozen shoulder is commonly known as frozen shoulder, frozen shoulder, shoulder coagulation, and the medical diagnosis is adhesive capsulitis. This disease is caused by inflammatory adhesions and stiffness of the shoulder glenohumeral capsule due to various reasons, and is characterized by pain around the shoulder joint and limited movement in all directions. Patients gradually develop a limited pain in one part of the shoulder that is significantly related to movement and posture. As the disease progresses, the pain expands and involves the middle part of the upper arm, accompanied by limitation of shoulder joint movement. The pain in the shoulder joint is mostly persistent and dull, with a lighter daytime and heavier nighttime character, and there are clear pressure points. The abduction and external rotation and internal rotation and extension of the shoulder are most severely affected. Patients are unable to comb their hair, dress or wash their face, which seriously affects their daily life. Frozen shoulder is a self-limiting disease. The pain is obvious at night, and the symptoms gradually worsen, then gradually relieve after reaching a certain level, and finally return to normal function.
