Does drinking plain milk really cause acne?

Drinking plain milk doesn’t necessarily mean you’ll actually get acne, and it’s doubtful whether dairy products cause acne; current research evidence only supports an association, not causation. Acne is most common on the forehead, around the mouth, and on the sides of the cheeks. Nutrients in milk that may cause acne include whey protein, some hormones, and IGF-1 growth factor. It is not recommended to drink a lot of pure milk for a long period of time, otherwise it may lead to the body’s sebaceous gland secretion, which in turn causes the hair follicle opening to be blocked, and is more likely to have acne. So, drinking pure milk does not mean that you will definitely get acne, acne is caused by a variety of reasons, to improve the diet may be beneficial to the acne treatment, but only for the auxiliary role. If the acne is more serious, it is still recommended to go to the hospital, according to the condition of the treatment program.
