Is purpura nephritis serious

Whether purpura nephritis is serious or not needs to be judged according to the clinical symptoms and pathological types. If the symptoms are mild, only hematuria, no proteinuria, or only a small amount of proteinuria, it is generally mild, and if the pathological type is mild thylakoid hyperplasia, the clinical symptoms will be relatively mild; if there is a manifestation of nephrotic syndrome, or blood creatinine increase, the pathological type of the formation of multiple crescents is more serious.
1. Clinical symptoms: purpura nephritis is not a serious disease for most people, if the symptoms are not very obvious when the renal function does not produce significant damage, proteinuria has not increased significantly, only manifested as hematuria, it is generally not serious. If there is obvious proteinuria, blood creatinine recent rapid increase, suggesting that the disease activity, the condition is more serious.
2. Pathologic type: If the pathologic type only shows mild thylakoid hyperplasia, it is generally not serious. If there is a large number of crescent formation, it suggests that the condition is more serious, and clinically it may rapidly progress to renal insufficiency, and the prognosis is poor even after active treatment.
Patients with purpura nephritis are advised to consult regular hospitals for standardized examination and treatment under the guidance of physicians.
