What is low myopia?

A myopic refraction greater than 50 degrees is defined as myopia. Generally, myopia between 50 degrees and 300 degrees is called low myopia, 300 degrees to 600 degrees is called moderate myopia, and 600 degrees or more is high myopia. Patients with high myopia need to have their fundus reviewed once a year to rule out degeneration or fissures in the fundus and retinopathy caused by high myopia. If such lesions are present, they also need to be treated aggressively. Low myopia tends to have less impact on vision, but if it is between 200 and 300 degrees myopia can also affect vision, which can often be around 0.1 to 0.2. If you feel that your eyesight is not enough, you also need to wear a pair of myopic glasses, which you can wear when driving or when you need to see things at a distance to ensure the quality of your daily life and will also ensure the safety of your daily life.
