What kind of people are suitable to wear RGP

  RGP indications: 1. adolescent myopic patients who wish to use RGP to control the deepening of myopia; 2. highly refractive errors; 3. patients who need lenses for long wear (overnight wear); 4. all those who are not comfortable wearing soft lenses due to various complications; 5. patients with corneal astigmatism above 2.5D can wear hyperbolic or hyperbolic RGP; 6. patients with conical cornea; 7. Farsighted patients can wear bifocal RGP; 8, due to various refractive corneal surgery (such as RK, PRK, LASIK), corneal transplantation, corneal disease (such as corneal trauma, keratitis, hereditary keratoconus) resulting in irregular corneal astigmatism; 9, refractive correction of aphakic eyes.  Although RGP has many advantages, patients with the following conditions are not allowed to wear it or have to be decided by a doctor whether it is suitable: 1, corneal disease; 2, arthritis; 3, protruding eyes with mental irritation; 4, severe ptosis; 5, those with elevated areas on or near the corneal edge (such as pterygium or conjunctival macula); 6, patients with irregular astigmatism or astigmatism greater than 300 degrees, about 250 degrees need to be examined by a professional doctor to determine; 7.Patients with severe dry eye disease; 8.Patients with a history of eye surgery will be examined by a professional doctor before deciding.
