What is the diagnosis of moist and unclean anal perineal area due to proctitis

Symptoms of proctitis include diarrhea, abdominal pain, and bloating. It should be noted that proctitis can also cause intense anal pain, so when anal pain occurs, it should be carefully diagnosed, and the cause should be identified through electronic anoscopy for symptomatic treatment. It often leads to moist and unclean perineal area, so what are the diagnoses of proctitis associated with moist and unclean perineal area? The chronic proctitis finger palpation can palpate the rectal mucosa with reduced elasticity, roughness with granular protrusions or scars. Proctoscopy can see mucosal edema, hypertrophy, yellowish white, covered with mucus, wipe away the mucus, visible mucosal surface is not smooth, individual parts have erosion. Bacterial culture and biopsy can determine the etiological diagnosis. The microscopic examination of chronic proctitis is characterized by swollen, hypertrophic mucosa with a rough granular surface and a small amount of mucus, and atrophic proctitis is seen microscopically: dry, gray-colored mucosa and a vascular network is visible under the mucosa. In acute proctitis, the anus is swollen and hot, the skin of the anus is moist and red, there is severe pain in the rectum on finger palpation, and the sphincter is spasmodic and the anal opening is tense. Proctoscopy reveals mucosal congestion, edema, bleeding, erosion, yellow pus moss or punctate ulcers on the surface, and stool culture or biopsy to identify the causative organism, which can determine the etiological diagnosis. Acute proctitis microscopy is characterized by deep red, swollen rectal mucosa with longitudinal folds and secretions between the folds. Diagnosis of ulcerative proctitis: If the condition becomes mild, there may be only intermittent small rectal bleeding, which is often mistaken for bleeding hemorrhoids. Some patients also present with constipation, mostly due to spasm of the rectum with inflammation. There are also patients with ulcerative proctitis who do not have symptoms of blood in the stool, but only an increase in the number of bowel movements and unformed soft stools, which occur mostly in the morning, with 2 to 3 unformed soft stools, while the rest of the day is the same as normal.
