In recent years, the incidence of colorectal cancer in China has been increasing, and the results of many studies show that the long years of high-protein, high-fat and low-fiber diet are easy to occur. Other related factors, such as ulcerative colitis not cured for many years, multiple people in the family suffering from colorectal cancer or polyposis, chronic schistosomiasis infection, etc. are also related to the development of colorectal cancer. The traditional treatment of colorectal cancer is a comprehensive treatment mainly based on surgery. Whether chemotherapy is needed after surgery, doctors often have to decide according to the early and late stage of tumor, the degree of differentiation and the comprehensive situation of the patient. The currently popular immunotherapy and Chinese medicine treatment can also be used as complementary or adjuvant means to assist or enhance the treatment effect of colon cancer at the appropriate time. However, as of now, the cure rate of colon cancer has not been significantly improved. Therefore, medical practitioners are still actively searching for more effective treatment methods for colorectal cancer. With the continuous development of imaging equipment and surgical devices, the role of interventional therapy in the treatment of colorectal cancer is becoming more and more prominent. Compared with conventional intravenous chemotherapy, the concentration of drugs in local tumor tissues is significantly higher, while the concentration of drugs in other parts of the body is significantly lower, and more than 2/3 of the drugs are in the target organs (10-30 times more), thus making the systemic side effects lower and the local efficacy of tumor significantly higher.
