Diagnostic criteria (1) Asthma: history of asthma or diffuse high-pitched woven mat on expiration! (2) Eosinophilia, greater than 10% of the leukocyte sorting count. (3) Mononeuropathy or polyneuropathy: mononeuropathy due to systemic vasculitis, multiple mononeuropathies or polyneuropathies (i.e., glove/glove-like distribution). (4) Non-fixed intrapulmonary infiltrates appear on radiographs as migrating or transient pulmonary infiltrates due to systemic vasculitis. (5) Paranasal sinus lesions with a history of acute or chronic paranasal sinus pain or pressure with blurred paranasal sinuses on radiographs. (6) Extravascular eosinophilic infiltration: pathology showing eosinophilic infiltration in the periphery of arteries, microarteries, and microvenules.
