Language is an advanced behavior unique to human beings and is an important way of human communication. The language process is first expressed through the central integration of auditory + visual processing and then through speech, and then through the next round of the cycle to achieve language as a high-level behavior, social activities, some people speak quickly, some people speak slowly, I think this is the central loop of each person’s fast and slow decision. For right-handed people, the language center is located in the left hemisphere and consists of four major components: the motor language center (for speaking), the auditory language center (for listening), the reading center (for reading words, etc.), and the writing center (for writing). Of these, damage to the motor and auditory language centers is the most common, and it is the auditory language center that is most likely to occur in the young mother mentioned above, while Thursday’s emergency patient presented with damage to the motor language center right after surgery. There are also cases where people who originally spoke dialect and Mandarin can only speak Mandarin postoperatively, English postoperatively, and so on in the wards. The neural remodeling that occurs after language center damage is another emerging discipline. Brain science is a mysterious discipline, and language remodeling after tumor surgery is even more fascinating.
