Surgical treatment of coronary heart disease

With the improvement of people’s living standard, the number of people with “three highs (high blood pressure, high blood fat, high blood sugar)” is increasing, and the incidence of coronary atherosclerotic heart disease (coronary heart disease) is showing a rising trend year by year. Coronary artery bypass grafting, commonly known as coronary artery bypass grafting, or CABG, is internationally recognized as the most effective treatment for coronary heart disease, with a history of more than 50 years. Many international celebrities, such as U.S. President Bill Clinton and Russian President Boris Yeltsin, have undergone coronary artery bypass grafting. Coronary artery bypass grafting, the surgical method is to use the transplanted blood vessels (often the great saphenous vein and internal mammary artery) in the aorta and the distal part of the obstructed coronary artery to establish a vascular access, to restore the blood supply to the ischemic myocardium in the distal part of the stenotic or obstructed coronary arteries, so as to improve the myocardial ischemia and hypoxia status. Coronary artery bypass grafting surgery is effective and is a positive and effective way to treat coronary heart disease.
