Humid air during the rainy season makes rheumatism easy to grieve

The humid climate increases during the rainy season. Some patients with rheumatism often get “sad” during this period, unknowingly suffering from rheumatic heart disease (rheumatic heart disease), resulting in valve lesions, atrial fibrillation, heart failure and so on.       The chief physician Zhang Ming, a cardiovascular specialist at Nanjing Hospital of Integrative Medicine, said that during the rainy season, patients with rheumatic heart disease should pay attention to rest, combine work and rest, and avoid excessive physical labor. Patients with heart failure should control water intake and have a strict low-salt diet (no more than 3 grams per day). Patients with combined atrial fibrillation should not engage in strenuous activities and should be treated with regular anticoagulation therapy to prevent strokes.
