It is every woman’s wish to have perfectly curved breasts, but many women with large breasts also have a slight concern: will they be more likely to get breast cancer? The most important thing is that it is not a matter of the size of the body. However, most of the academics believe that large breast size is not a risk factor for breast cancer development. However, “high breast density” has been shown to be associated with breast cancer risk and is a strong risk factor. In other words, if a person has small but dense breasts, the risk of breast cancer is increased, whereas if a person has large but dense breasts, the risk of cancer is reduced. However, breast density screening (usually by x-ray) is not yet available in China. In conclusion, breast cancer is the result of many factors and there is no need to worry too much about it, but frequent self-examination and medical checkups are a must.
