Where do breast cancer tumors usually grow?

Breast cancer tumors grow in the middle of the breast and are more common in the outer upper quadrant of the breast, but they can also grow elsewhere, such as the inner lower quadrant or the inner upper quadrant, and they may also appear under the areola. The main characteristics of breast tumor are hard texture, unclear boundary, relatively fixed when the tumor is large, and very poor mobility when pushing the tumor. If the tumor affects the lymphatic ducts of the breast, it will lead to orange peel-like changes in the skin. If it affects the internal ligaments of the breast, it will lead to local depression in the form of dimple sign and cause enlargement and metastasis of the ipsilateral axillary lymph nodes, or metastasis of subclavian or supraclavicular lymph nodes. After the diagnosis is clear, surgical excision is usually the main treatment if it can be done.
