White blood boosting injections are the common name for these injections that boost white blood cell counts, and the scientific name is “recombinant human granulocyte colony-stimulating factor,” which is actually produced by the body in its natural state to encourage white blood cells to mature slowly.
What are the types of leuke-boosting injections?
.
There are two types of white-boosting injections: short-acting and long-acting white-boosting injections.
Short-acting whitening injections, as the name implies, have a short maintenance time and thus require continuous daily injections, which may take 3-7 days or even 10 days depending on the individual’s body type and degree of white blood cell decline, and are relatively inexpensive;
Long-acting leukostasis injection, which can be released slowly in the body after injection and has a long maintenance time, requires about 1-2 injections per chemotherapy cycle depending on each individual’s weight, and is more convenient to use, but relatively expensive.
Of course some oral white-boosting herbs can also play a role in raising white blood cells, but they work more slowly, need to be taken for a longer period of time, and cannot improve low white blood cells in the short term, and are suitable for mild leukopenia, or as a follow-up maintenance drug after the use of white-boosting injections.
