Respiratory syncytial virus pneumonia, referred to as syncytial virus pneumonia, is a common interstitial pneumonia in pediatric patients, mostly in infants and children. Since maternal antibodies do not prevent the infection from occurring, it can develop in young infants shortly after birth. The incubation period is 4-5 days, and the initial cough and nasal blockage is usually seen. -The incubation period is usually 4-5 days. 2/3 of the cases have a high fever, but it is not persistent, most of them are 1-4 days, a few are 5-8 days. In mild cases, respiratory distress and neurological symptoms are not significant, while in moderate to severe cases, there are obvious respiratory distress, wheezing, lip bruising and trismus signs, and a few severe cases may also be combined with heart failure.
