Self-examination helps to diagnose breast cancer early?

Self-examination is the most effective way to detect early breast cancer. Women above childbearing age should conduct a detailed self-examination of their entire breast (including both armpits) at least once a month. Once suspicious conditions are detected, you should immediately visit a hospital breast surgery department because any lump-like object felt in the breast is not a normal manifestation, and the doctor will give you the following examinations. 1.Mammography can detect early tumor lesions that are not yet clinically palpable lumps. 2.Breast ultrasound examination, which can be complemented with X-ray examination, can detect breast lumps smaller than 1 cm, and also can understand the blood flow around the tumor. 3.Fine needle aspiration of the breast in suspicious area and cytological examination. 4.Smear of nipple spillage to look for cancer cells is a way to detect breast cancer at an early stage. 5.Surgical excision and pathological biopsy should be actively performed for suspicious lesions of the breast, including severe mastopexy.
