Can diabetics eat ice cream?

Ice cream is not recommended for diabetics.
Diabetes mellitus is a group of metabolic diseases caused by multiple etiologies characterized by chronic hyperglycemia, accompanied by decreased insulin secretion or defective action, and some patients may experience symptoms such as polyuria, polydipsia and weight loss.
However, ice cream is a high-sugar food and is not recommended for diabetic patients. Consumption of ice cream may cause an increase in blood glucose, and at the same time may cause gastrointestinal discomforts, such as diarrhea, abdominal pain and other symptoms. Diabetics should test their blood sugar regularly to keep it stable.
