Can taking aminos induce gout?

Ammonia is glucosamine, and there is no evidence that taking glucosamine induces gout.
Gout is an inflammation and damage to the joints caused by the deposition of monosodium urate crystals. Attacks of gout are closely related to hyperuricemia, with common triggers such as a high-purine diet, heavy alcohol consumption, and strenuous exercise, etc. There is no direct evidence that taking glucosamine affects blood uric acid levels and induces gout.
Glucosamine can increase calcium absorption and is commonly used in the treatment of osteoarthritis. The drug is metabolized and excreted by the liver and kidneys after entering the body, and the main metabolites are water, carbon dioxide and urea, which do not include the production of large amounts of blood uric acid.
Glucosamine needs to be used under the guidance of a physician, it is recommended that gout patients go to the rheumatology and immunology department of a regular hospital for a detailed consultation, and follow the doctor’s instructions for treatment.
