Dietary contraindications for hypertension

Hypertension is a common condition and patients should try to avoid foods that are high in sodium, saturated fatty acids, energy, and stimulating in their daily lives.
Foods high in sodium are commonly understood as foods high in salt, such as kimchi, salami and other pickled and smoked foods; foods such as pork, beef and lamb are rich in unsaturated fatty acids, which have a detrimental effect on blood pressure control and are recommended to limit intake appropriately; various sweets such as sweets and cakes are also not recommended to be eaten in excess; patients with hypertension are advised to stop smoking and drinking, which helps to reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease.
It is worth noting that dietary modifications should only be used as an adjunctive treatment in daily life. If there is clearly an increase in blood pressure, it is recommended to actively seek medical advice and receive appropriate therapeutic measures such as medication under the guidance of a medical professional.
