How soon can you get pregnant again after conservative treatment of ectopic pregnancy?

In general, after conservative treatment of ectopic pregnancy, pregnancy is possible as soon as the patient has fully recovered. However, for the sake of women’s health, it is better to consider pregnancy after 3 months after the ectopic pregnancy is cured, and a tubal imaging test should be performed before pregnancy to avoid the recurrence of ectopic pregnancy. After the conservative treatment of ectopic pregnancy, it is normal to have menstruation for about 40 days. During this period, the blood hCG should be monitored and only after the blood hCG has completely decreased to normal is the conservative treatment considered successful. Only after the success of conservative treatment can pregnancy be considered. After 3 months of successful conservative treatment, a tubal imaging can be performed to see if the tubes are open bilaterally. If the tubes are patent, the frequency of sex can be increased to increase the chance of pregnancy. If the affected tube is not patent or completely blocked, ultrasound monitoring of ovulation is recommended. If ultrasound monitoring reveals that the healthy tube is open, pregnancy is also possible. After conservative treatment, you should eat less spicy, greasy and cold food and keep your mood relaxed. In addition, pay attention to hygiene during menstruation, change sanitary napkins frequently, change underwear regularly, and clean the vulva well to avoid infection.
