Coughing and coughing up purulent sputum with blood is most often due to two causes. The first reason is that if the patient has repeatedly had cough, coughing up pus sputum, coughing up blood before, and is relatively wasted, or even has had respiratory diseases before, it is recommended to take a lung CT, which is a high possibility of bronchial dilatation. The second reason is infectious disease of the lung. If the patient has recently developed fever, cough, coughing up pus sputum, coughing up blood, or even wasting, it is more likely to be a lung infection. The most common are bacterial pneumonia, tuberculosis, and pulmonary fungal infections. The cause of the infection should be clarified and anti-infective treatment should be given.
